Turn Serum 2 into a 90s rompler machine!

90s-esque ambient textures, dark alien soundscapes, atmospheric pads, and ice cold industrial shots. Serum 2 presets for use in dreamlike dance music, sound-tracks, scoring, & wherever your mind takes you. Made using original 90s hardware for an authentic experience.

This preset pack contains samples from my Uncanny Dreams Vol 1 and Uncanny Dreams Vol 2 sample packs, turned into playable Serum 2 presets (NOTE: If you ALREADY OWN Uncanny Dreams Vol 1 + 2, you already have the core samples used in 95% of the presets here. Fair Warning!)

How is this possible? Serum 2 now provides a "sample" oscillator, allowing you to load in samples, process them with traditional synthesis technique, and play them back like a classic sampler.

Minimal processing has been done in the presets themselves. A touch of release, loops when applicable, and a simple FX chain that can be easily disabled. This was done to put the sound sculpting in your hands.

202 Serum 2 presets across three categories:

Chords: Ambient pad chords sampled & playable with one finger in serum
FX: Combination of one-shots, soundscapes, and various FX type sounds
Single Notes: Single note variants, looped with the ability to play chords in serum for that 90s sampler sound

The original samples from Uncanny Dreams Vol 1 + 2 were created with vintage synthesizers & effect units from the 90s

1. After purchase you will get a download containing a .SerumPack file. This file contains all the presets.
2. Open Serum 2 -> Select MENU -> Select IMPORT PRESET PACK...
3. Your file browser will open. Navigate to the Uncanny Dreams.SerumPack file and select it to load
4. Once loaded, you will see the "Preset Pack Installed" message. The preset pack will now show up in your preset browser

The single note preset category is a goldmine for recreating that 90s atmospheric pad sound heard in many ambient jungle / dnb tunes from the era. Learn more about the technique below (why it works) - then unleash in Serum 2!
